FAQs
How are your prints made?
I use the process of linocut print making for my prints. All of my linocut artwork is printed by hand and therefore each piece is an original artwork and entirely handmade, unless stated otherwise! If a print is not an original I will describe it as a digital or reproduction print.
When I describe an artwork as a “linocut print” it will be a handprinted original edition rather than a digitally made reproduction. So each piece from a linocut print edition - though essentially all originating from the same carving/ the same image, each will have subtle differences and marks. This makes each piece unique in its own way.
As all my linocut work is made by hand, drying times can vary quite a lot, this depends on a variety of factors, including the amount of ink used for each print, the paper stock, if its been a particularly dry or wet weather spell!
How is your work packaged for sending?
I package all of my prints within card packed envelopes. The artworks are supported with a card backing, weatherproof wrap and tissue paper.
Do you make coloured editions of prints?
I mix a lot of my coloured edition inks by hand, so I cannot always get a direct colour match. However on request I can create prints in one off colours.
What sizes do your linoprints come in?
My prints tend to be sized between A6-A3. Some pieces for exhibition can be larger scale.
Can I find your artwork in Bricks and Mortar Shops?
I am currently looking to expand my stockists. If you would like to consider stocking any of my artwork or cards please do get in contact with me via email.
My work can currently be found in a few selected galleries and shops in the UK. I am in the process of creating a stockist list.
Do you take commissions?
Yes! If you would like to commission work, please visit my “commissions” page on my website. We can then discuss your ideas and see if I can create something unique for you.
